The London #LegalWalk 2012 : some memories

This renowned event is a 10km sponsored walk around some of London’s legal landmarks. It is now (probably!) the largest annual gathering of lawyers and the judiciary in the world. Leading from the top of the English legal hierarchy will be Lord Chief Justice, The Master of the Rolls, The Presidents of The Law Society and ILEX and the Chairman of the Bar, alongside the DPP, Official Solicitor and many more.

I was thrilled to be there at the Royal Courts of Justice yesterday. It was lovely to meet Bob and Natalia. who with tireless energy saw the whole day here in London come to remarkable fruition.

I should especially like to thank Bob and Natalia for inviting me to the event. The atmosphere there was extremely positive, and I enjoyed enormously chatting with Dominic Grieve QC MP about inclusivity and accessibility for disabled law students and lawyers, amongst other things. He came up in fact to chat with me whilst I was taking these snaps below, and, like LJ Laws, he’s one of the people I would put in a list of ‘very senior but incredibly down-to-earth and pleasant’. I hope you enjoy my photos – the professional photographers were much better, and I don’t envy their incredibly difficult task of getting people into groups in a hurry with such widely fluctuating lighting conditions.

Well done particularly to Lovell Chohan for this success!
